Ad material specifications:
Digital Ad Guide: All materials must be at least 300 dpi at printed scale. Do not apply style attributes within a design program to basic fonts. Fonts with styles applied will default to Courier. All colors must be CMYK. Anything created using Microsoft Word will be rejected, including letterhead for logo reproduction.

Digital Materials Required: A PDF/X1-a is preferred for all ads. We will accept 300 dpi Macintosh-compatible ads created in InDesign, Quark, Illustrator, or Photoshop as long as they include all linked files and fonts. Acceptable file formats: PDF, TIF, JPG, EPS. Ads that do not meet or exceed these guidelines will be subject to production fees.

Required Material: Please provide digital files on CD-Rom and include a publication-grade proof with each submission. If a publication-grade proof is not supplied, ACD will not be responsible for content or color reproduction of your advertising materials. Publication-grade proofs may be ordered from our design department at a cost of $100 per proof.

Late materials may be submitted electronically via FTP access, but may be subject to production fees. Please contact your ACD representative if you must have FTP access.

Two-color Advertisements: To run an ad containing a PMS spot color, a charge of $181 will be billed to the advertiser. Two-color ads without screens can be adjusted to a four-color process match and will be subject to production fees.
