Submit your photos to ACD and MBN!

Your photos are welcome at anytime! Please encourage your cake decorating colleagues and friends to submit their work as well.

We accept single shots of various cakes, along with step-by-step progressions for Mailbox News' Decorator's Showcase.

Please adhere to the following guidelines:

Digital Photos
• We CANNOT publish photos that include digital logos. Please only submit the original digital file that came from your camera.
• Email image files to editor@mailbox-news.com, or burn them to a CD-ROM and send them to the address below.
• Each photo must be of 300 dpi (dots per inch) resolution and a minimum of 900 x 1500 pixel dimensions.
(There should be a setting on your digital camera that lets you change the picture size and resolution. To know how big the photo can be when printed: divide the length of each side by 300 pixels, e.g. A 900 x 1500 pixel digital image will print to about 3 x 5 inches remember the bigger the photo, the better!)
• Must be in JPEG, GIF, or TIF format. (TIFs cannot be emailed.)
• Include a detailed description of how the cake was made including any tips used, size of the cake(s), any special techniques used, etc. In each email you send, be sure to also include your contact information.
If the photos are too small, we may not be able to use them for the magazine.

Print Photos
• Package the photos carefully to prevent damage.
• Provide a detailed description on the back of each print, including any tips used, size of the cake(s), any special techniques used, etc. Also, be sure to include your contact information on the back of each print.
Submitted photos cannot be returned to sender, and become property of Grace McNamara Inc.
