Softly Softly
by Lin Cook and Francis McNaughton
Here is a further stage in the flower-making process. The "soft" method, introduced by Lin Cook and Francis McNaughton, involves the use of a leaf glaze that inhibits the drying time of the paste for up to a half hour. This enables whole flowers and their foilage to be made and taped together in various stages of the flowering process, while the paste is still flexible.

Softly Softly displays step-by-step instruction on how to create various Lilies, Alstromeria, Anemone, Christmas Rose, Corn Poppy, Iris, Poinsettia, Tulips, and sugar ribbons. Included are basic instructions on the "soft" method, explaination of basic equipment needed, and a much useful glossary.
