Roll out white rolled fondant to 1/4-inch thickness. Cut butterflies from the fondant using butterfly cutters. Bend the wings to create a 45–90-degree angle, then place them randomly on the cake.

Robert Suggests: If butterfly cutters are not available, you can cut the basic shape of a butterfly from the fondant using a craft knife.
